Five Star Kids App from Top Best Apps for Kids!!

I love you all the time is a fantastic story book app, where the name of this app say’s it all. It’s a literary and poetic declaration of love from parents to their children. The cute and loving story has been illustrated with a caring family of bears and every page is filled with loving energy and a kiss from the parents to their children.Even if us hardworking parents are at work, or busy talking on the phone, even if we are telling you off for misbehaving and saying “No!” again – we love our kids at all times. This exact feeling is being communicated towards kids, with this heartwarming and beautiful kids story book app. The awesome illustrations are also interactive, with many animated details and sound effects -great! The text really invites us to read it, as every read out word is colourfully highlighted. Of course younger kids can listen to the attractive voice of the narrator and have the story read out to them. Kids can also listen and sing along to the suitable song, which is included to this story book app as an extra. This story book offers many other interesting features such as: If you want to read the story out to your kids yourself, you can simply record your voice with the integrated recorder and give the story a special and personal touch. Perhaps you are already familiar with the story, as the story book app is based on the same-named actual children’s book, by the authors: Jennifer Elin Cole, Jessica Elin Hirschman and Bonnie Bright (Illustrator).
I love you all the time is a beautiful and somewhat different children’s story book app, which should not be missing in your kids apps collection. Instead of listening and reading the same fairy tales all the time, kids can finally hear a loving and wonderful true story, one of the most real stories of all times: the love between parents and their children.

Five Stars from Best Apps for Kids

” Love You All The Time is an excellent book app with high quality features, and includes multiple educational and entertainment options. This is an app I can see being long-lasting on a family’s iPadI Love You All The Time does contain a couple of external links; however, they can be protected quickly by an option in the settings menu. This lovely little app does not contain social media, in-app purchases or ads. Bravo to the developer! What a lovely and safe environment for our children to enjoy.”

APPreciation This app has been a favorite book in our home for years and it was a WONDERFUL surprise for both boys to see their favorite book now an app, it simply amazed them! Just as I had thought, it was requested at bedtime from my 3 year old and has remained engaged throughout the day. He has already put his request in for the app to be his bedtime story again tonight. He simply can’t get enough of it! It always warms my heart to see his sweet smiles, get his tight hugs and receive those looks he gives me with those loving eyes while we engage in this app. Although we now have the app, the book is one if his “must have” books during road trips. My now 6 yr old always carried it with him as well during his younger years. The book will always be a true treasure in our house. As a parent, it is so nice to see the same love for the same book passed between brothers!

As a parent of 2 budding readers, I always appreciate text highlighting, also, a tap on the paragraph after it has been read will replay the paragraph again, such a wonderful educational feature! The narration is top notch, the navigation is child friendly and the amount of interactions are perfect! It is a heartwarming bedtime story filled with positive sights and words.

Being very familiar with the book version of this story, I must say, I am amazed at the quality of this app, given that the price is only $1.99. The features are outstanding and really add to the overall quality of the app! The ability to record your own voice is priceless. The menu, which allows my little guys to find their favorite page with ease is appreciated. I also love the customizable feature that allows you to add your child’s name in the last sentence, as do my boys, I added both their names! The included song is genius and my little guy loves it! He and I have been practicing it throughout the day. Needless to say, the song is as heartwarming as the story. My thanks to the developer for developing a stellar app, all of your hard work is truly appreciated! I have a very special place in my heart for this app. It has great replay value, is family friendly, fun and educational, therefore I would HIGHLY recommend this wonderful app!

I Love You All the Time: Review – smartappsforkids

Love you cover New_fourstars

Bottom Line: a bedtime story for parents of young children that preserves the loving message of the original board book and brings some creative extras to the digital update.

If you would like to purchase I Love You All the Time ($1.99, iPad only) for your little angel, please use Smart Apps for Kids’ link:

I Love You All The Time - Cookie Bear Press, Inc.

With Goodnight Moon, the most read bedtime board book of all time now an app, it stands to reason Cookie Bear Press would jump on the bandwagon as well with their own 1999 classic I Love You All the Time. My twins were born in 2002 and I got a copy of this book with the bright red cover and big heart as a shower gift. I don’t remember much from those intensely sleep deprived years, but I do remember reading this book over and over.

Love you bakeryThis sugar sweet bedtime affirmation by authors Jessica Elin Hirschman and Jennifer Elin Cole has made the transition from paper to pixels rather well. The simplicity of the original is carried over. This is a bedtime story so everything is low key and quiet. The book only has 7 pages with a few lines of verse on each page. The title is repeated on every page as the whole point is to reassure a child he is loved no matter what.

The illustrations by Bonnie Bright feature lots of bold primary colors and simple patterns. Each page shows a different setting in which the mama or papa bear can express unconditional love to the precious cub. Whether parents are at home, at work or even on a trip, the pictures of the bear family convey the same message of love and devotion.

Love you phoneAnimations are purposefully understated. They aren’t marked in any way, but can be found through exploration of the pictured objects. Letters on the bedspread are identified when pressed, lights turn on and off and there are lots of sound effects. My favorite is hearing mama bear’s conversation on her cell phone. Just enough interactivity is included to keep a toddler’s attention without disrupting the bedtime routine. A soundtrack throughout the story also helps set the mood.

The clear, heartfelt narration makes the most of the short verses. There’s a nice rhythm to it. Words are highlighted as they are read. I generally don’t bother with record myself options found in ebooks, but I was happy to see it in this case. Because this is such a personal story, it makes sense for the child to hear her mother or father’s voice. This feature allows the story to be played by a babysitter or other caretaker while mommy is away. My favorite part is the prompt at the end to record your own verse. When I was buried in diapers, and covering the 7 p.m. to 1 a.m feeding shift, I used to murmur silly verses like, “I love you when you vomit and when you make a poop.”

Love you menuSeveral extras and the settings menu are accessible from a pop up tray at the bottom of the screen. There’s a page by page index and an option to personalize the last page with a child’s name. Both the narration and music can be turned off. Storybook mode keeps the animations from activating until after the text is read on each page. This setting should be standard in all books marketed to pre-readers. The most unusual feature is hearing the words of the book in a song. The recording has a bit too much of a folk or country twang for my taste, but it’s among the most original additions to book apps I’ve seen and likely to be a big hit with toddlers. The song is also available as a separate iTunes download. It’s sung by Rosemary Watson.

The app, like the board book, makes a special gift for a new mother although I’ve yet to come up with a good way to give a digital present. It also would be wonderful for a military family facing a deployment. And if it’s a bit too syrupy for the reality of your family, record your own verses like I did.
